delighted I received an invitation to join 2.0 Part of the Tribe and celebrate with them the Book Day 2011 through a collaborative blog to convert this event into an adventure ICT for XXI century. Share activities and experiences with Doña Leads , Julia and their children or Blogmaníacos (among others) is still fascinating while overwhelming, frenetic pace at which these teachers have! Now that's dedication to students and encourage reading. I go to the rear, trying to do with my students what time and scheduling will allow me.
Open lines in which they are working are: Self reader reads My father, my mother reads, fiction in Mythology, "Where are you reading?, Rima, rhyming, visual stories, illustrators, the big story of the Education is not a story ( You can check here for the rest of the brief ).
The first activity that I conducted with my students of 1 º ESO has been to write fiction in on the book and the universe around him. First we read a selection of micro-narratives to learn some techniques with which to build later texts. Then chose a representative image for each short story, and all we made a Popplet , a tool that I have met through Hector Monteagudo, and in principle is designed to organize ideas graphically (as a map conceptual) but to allow the insertion of text, images, and video lines can be an excellent alternative to Wallwisher , wall post-its online that makes many mistakes lately. It is very simple and quick to use, can invite collaborators and also can export the result in JPEG and PDF.
