This Saturday I attended the XII Day School Board Navarra, as I had been invited to teach a workshop on using web 2.0 tools in Language classes and Literature. The name of the day was very evocative: How are our children learning? New materials based on new technologies. I liked the reference to the new teaching, we must not lose sight of the power (ICT) without control (change in methodology) is useless.
We were fortunate to have the presence of Jordi Adell in a conference that left attendees with his mouth open. After his talk in the air floated all their enthusiasm, their enthusiasm, succeeded in conveying the magic with his words and humor: a new education is waiting for us, and we have to try it possible. And even admire his great skill as a communicator and his knowledge, I have to say that was not what surprised me most about him, but the quality (and warmth) human. What good speech, but what good listener.
One forgets all the accumulated exhaustion and nerves when you live what was experienced in Pamplona on Saturday: I met teachers who were beginning to be excited about the ICT world, talked to parents interested in the new education of their children, I I felt supported by my region (something starts to move in Navarra and the Department of Education wants to hear us!), white-linen shared with colleagues who are doing some work extraordinarios en las aulas -las wikis coordinadas por Roberto Elizalde ; el equipo IntegraTIC del CP San Francisco ; José Javier Baile y su proyecto de e-twinning So far, so near y las Matemáticas a la vista de Manuel Sada- y disfruté con la simpatía de Celestino Arteta . Y como final de la jornada, mi regalo: compartir cañas e ilusiones con los amigos tuiteros que se acercaron hasta Pamplona: @Juancarikt, @similiki, @alaznez, @NicolasaQM, @allthose, @inandlop @aomatos @soylabe @ainhoaeus @lavirto @mertxejbadiola. Todavía you had not gone and I missed you, how great you are! I loved to see you (a few) and meet you (to others), every day you please me more;)
